About
Devon Borkowski graduated with a BFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts in 2022. She specializes in surrealist oil paintings, but has experience in a variety of styles and mediums. Much of Devon's art is inspired by her cultural heritage, as an Enrolled member of the Rappahannock Tribe. Her work utilizes traditional practices, such as beadwork and gourd painting, as well as Indigenous subject matter, showcasing the beauty and resilience of her people. She also pulls influence from her childhood in the New Jersey Pine Barrens, and her love of storytelling.

Devon's work has been displayed in the Department of the Interior, under the stewardship of Secretary Deb Haaland. She has also been featured in gallery shows across the east coast, and on the holiday card of Virginia Delegate Paul Krizek.
